Kiwi Pause

NOTE:  I have become AWARE that there EXISTED A SONNET FORM named NEW ZEALAND SONNET
Before the creation of the form by the same name by Jose Rizal M. Reyes, which I introduced here.

For clarification, until Jose has time and inclination to
resolve the conflict I'll refer to his as Kiwi Sonnet, a sub-title he did provide.

New Zealand (Kiwi)
Renamed here to  Kiwi Pause - Suggested by creator.
Quatorzain, Generally Iambic Pentameter or tetrameter
Volta at or following line 9
3 Quatrains + Couplet
Rhyme scheme:  abba ccdd effe gg
This is a form invented by Jose Rizal M. Reyes of the Philippines

Note:  The template still bears the original, inappropriate name.

New Zealand Sonnet
Marked by its isolation from the two major sonnet sources, the New Zealand sonnet is a hybrid of Italian, English with the French influence of interlocking the quatrains; remembering that although a former English colony a few islands in the Pacific are French speaking.

Here is the rhyme scheme;
a. b. a. b. . . b. b. c. c. . . c. d. c. d. . . e. e.
Here is an example.
